DESCRIPTION
Clove Essential Oil is derived from the tree Syzgium aromaticum plant. It is a slender evergreen that grows up to 12 meters in height. At the start of the rainy season, long buds appear which are distilled to extract the oil. COMMON NAMES Clove CONSTITUENTS Volatile oil, gallotannic acid, eugenin, eugenol, gum, resin, BLENDS WITH: Citronella, Grapefruit, Lemon, Orange, Peppermint, Rosemary, and Rose. USES Clove Essential Oil is an effective agent for minor pains and aches (particular dental pain), and is helpful when battling flu and colds. |
